François Gilbert

François Gilbert, Co-founder of Gilbert & Gaillard is an expert on wine regions, the history of the vineyards and current wine affairs. He shares with you his passion for wine in the broadest sense

 

Philippe Gaillard

Philippe Gaillard, Co-founder of Gilbert & Gaillard in 1989, has published lots of articles on various topics : wine growing; oenology plus current events in the wine world.

 

Sylvain Patard

Sylvain Patard, chief editor of Gilbert & Gaillard publications since 1992, shares his interviews with the wine makers and visits with the vineyards in France and abroad.

 

Delphine Veissière

Delphine Veissiere lives between Milan and Paris. She has a PhD in economics from the University of Paris-Dauphine and holds a qualification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust in London. She heads the Italian office of Gilbert & Gaillard.

 

Diego Bonnel

  • In addition to his experience in Strategic Management and Supply Chain Management, Diego Bonnel has an international profile oriented towards the wine world. Passionate about wine for more than twenty five years, he has developed a deep know how as a consultant, helping wineries and public bodies linked to the wine sector as well as a wide knowledge of the techniques and wine export methods.
  • He travels extensively in many wine producing countries, meeting winemakers, oenologists, sommeliers and experts. He tastes thousands of wines each year and possesses a deep understanding of Iberian wines (Spanish and Portuguese)
  • He currently lives in Madrid, where he is in charge of the Spanish and Portuguese G&G office.

 

Emmanuel de Lanversin

Born on a winegrowing estate in Provence, Emmanuel learned how to walk by holding on to grapevines. He holds an advanced vocational diploma in viticulture and oenology from Mâcon-Davayé and is also an architect and engineer of bridges and roadways. He recently moved to the United States to set up the North American office of Gilbert & Gaillard.

 

Jamal Rayyis

He is a New York-based writer, wine critic, and educator, who is the author of seven editions of Food & Wine Magazine's annual book The Wine Guide (2002-2008). He has written for a number of publications, both print and onl ine, including Food & Wine Magazine, Wine & Spirits, Wine Enthusiast, New York Magazine, Departures Magazine, The New York Times, Fodors, among others. He has been a judge at various wine competitions, including the Dallas Morning News competition, The Critics' Challenge, the Catad'or Chile, and the Hyatt Wine Awards in Mendoza, Argentina.

 

Olivier Delorme

Olivier Delorme, wine advisor and member of Gilbert & Gaillard's tasting panel since 1995, will advise you on the 'savoir faire 'of wine and recommend food and wine matches

 

Franck Rousseau

Franck Rousseau, journalist, lives between Los Angeles and Paris. Specializing in celebrity interviews and reports. In the magazine Wine International Gilbert & Gaillard is responsible for heading Wines and Stars.

 

Mark Andrew

Since joining London’s award winning Roberson Wine in 2007, Mark has established a centralised buying department and runs their acclaimed wine school and fine wine tastings. His first love is the wines of France (Burgundy and the South in particular) and he spends much of his time visiting wine regions and producers across the country. Mark is currently studying to become a Master of Wine.

Jean Natoli

Jean Natoli trained as an agricultural engineer and oenologist and is now the director of the oenological laboratory that he set up in 1992. His consulting company works with many winemakers and traders in the south of France, as well as in Spain, Italy and Germany. Jean Natoli is also president of the Vino Latino association and a wine grower in Provence and Languedoc.

 

Thomas Magnani

After receiving a Master’s degree in sales and marketing in 2007, Thomas Magnani moved to China, where he learned Chinese and analysed the prospects of this developing market. In August 2008, he created his own company, BS Wine. Based in the Gilbert & Gaillard office in Shanghai, he is our official representative in China and Hong Kong.

 

Louise Hurren

Louise Hurren: after a degree in French and Italian, Louise worked in marketing communications in Paris and London. In 2002 she moved to the southern French region of Languedoc-Roussillon, where she writes about wine, and the men and women who make and market it.
