Tasting comments

Coppery orange. Minimalist, elegant palate of dried fruits and exotic wood with real breed. The palate reveals an extremely harmonious attack and very soft oakiness. A fleshy brandy with fruit expression still in its youth and a spice touch on the finish.

Domain's description

Set in the heart of Bas Armagnac, on the border between Gers and the Landes area, Domaine de la Béroje has produced brandy for generations in its 18th-century cellar. All of them are sourced in the estate’s vineyards and are matured and bottled on site. The owner and cellarmaster, who specialises in old vintages, leaves his brandies to properly mature, only releasing Armagnacs that are over twenty years old. Vintages run from 1946 to 1997, revealing a richly-endowed aromatic spectrum, each vintage imbued with its own unique character.

The cellars are open to the public though La Béroje Armagnacs can also be found in Michelin-starred restaurants including Apicius, Carré des Feuillants, Maison Rostang and Le Pré…

The website , is packed with information and enables visitors to learn more about the specific features and precious heritage encapsulated by brandies matured in pure Bas Armagnac tradition.
